Women’s organizations hold Women and Technology Policy forum

Representatives from several national women’s groups gathered at the Joint Center for Political and Economic Studies in Washington, D.C. to discuss ways to increase the number of women working in techonology fields. The event was hosted by the National Coalition on Black Civic Participation Black Women’s Roundtable, Healthy Media Commission, Women in Cable and Telecommunications, National Organization of Black Elected Legislative Women, Women’s Institute for Freedom of the Press, Alliance for Women in Media, Minority Media and Telecomm Council and Politic365.
