#CONFIRM LORETTA LYNCH- Join Us and Women of Good Faith and Conscience on Capitol Hill WEDNESDAY, APRIL 15, 2015 at 9:45 am

Women of Faith & Good Conscience Prayer Gathering & Hill Visits On Capitol Hill

Join us at the corner of New Jersey & Independence Street, SE (The Triangle), Washington, DC (Assembling at 9:00 am – United Methodist Building – Room 3, 100 Maryland Avenue, NE, DC)

Senator Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, (KY) continues to delay a full Senate floor vote to confirm the nomination of Loretta Lynch for Attorney General on the United States.

ACTION IS NEEDED NOW!

The Loretta Lynch confirmation vote has been delayed 5 months! Women of faith and good conscience across the nation are outraged at the disrespect and unfair treatment of a stellar and accomplished public servant, Ms. Loretta Lynch. We believe every day of delay is a possible day of lost support for Loretta Lynch!

Co-Convening organizations include Black Women’s Roundtable, National African American Clergy Network, African American Ministers In Action, Black Youth Vote, The House of the Lord Churches, Incite Unlimited, LLC, Lawyers’ Committee for Civil Rights Under Law, Leadership Conference on Civil & Human Rights, Moms Rising, National Network to End Domestic Violence, NAACP, NAACP LDF, National Action Network, National Bar Association, National Black Caucus of State Legislators, National Congress of Black Women, National Organization of Black Law Enforcement Executives, NOBEL Women, National Urban League, Pro Voice Movement for Women, Redwood Enterprise, LLC, Vestige Strategies and other women’s groups.
