Washington, DC (January 8, 2021) – On January 5th, Democratic Senatorial candidates Rev. Raphael Warnock and Jon Ossoff staged historic victories over their Republican opponents, Senators Kelly Loeffler and David Perdue, respectively.

On Tuesday, January 12 at 2:00 p.m., EST, the National Coalition on Black Civic Participation (NCBCP) and its Georgia Unity 2020/2021 state partners, Georgia Coalition for the Peoples Agenda, Georgia Stand UP, Clayton County Black Women’s Roundtable and Georgia Black Youth Vote, will hold a virtual media briefing to discuss the results of the Georgia U. S. Senate Run-off Election, the key role Black women & youth leadership, and their votes, played in the outcome of the election and what it means for the First 100 Days of the Biden-Harris Administration and the nation.

Interested media organizations are invited to register and participate in the virtual media briefing.
