Employee Free Choice Act Call to Action

Congress may be on recess, but NOW is the perfect time to encourage your Representatives to support the Employee Free Choice Act (H.R. 1409, S. 560).The Employee Free Choice Act will give millions of American workers the opportunity to choose to become a part of a union. Nationwide, 16.1 million workers in 2008 belonged to unions and were able to bargain for increased benefits, protected wages, and better working conditions. Passing the Employee Free Choice Act will help to ensure that the future of workers' rights is in American workers' hands - not their employers.
