NCBCP Black Women’s Roundtable Women of Power National Summit: Let’s Get Organized!
The NCBCP BWR Women of Power National Summit (BWR National Summit) is the culmination of the National Coalition’s BWR Healthy, Wealthy & Wise National Empowerment Tour Initiative (BWR Tour) that was launched in New Orleans, LA in October 2010 and being hosted in six (6) states and the District of Columbia. The BWR Tour mission is to provide Black and underserved women, veterans and girls with tools that help them live healthier, achieve economic security and sustainability; become empowered through educational & training opportunities; increase access to affordable technology and high-speed broadband to compete in a global economy and address the issue of ending violence against women and girls.
The NCBCP BWR National Summit expects an intergenerational delegation of over 400 women of power to attend with their mentees from across the country and District of Columbia communities. There will be a special track focused on uplifting young girls with enrichment sessions and motivation to live their best lives!
