NCBCP Community Service

national coalition on black civic participation joins in united we serve

The National Coalition on Black Civic Participation is pleased to support President Obama's call to service this summer - United We Serve. From June 22 to September 11, United We Serve will begin to engage Americans in addressing community needs in education, health, energy and the environment, and community renewal.

NCBCP envisions a nation in which all people, from youth to seniors, have the tools to participate fully in the democratic process and serve their communities. United We Serve is a unique opportunity to connect with your family, friends and neighbors to volunteer with organizations in your community or start a project of your own. It will take each one of us acting together to make service a way of like in America.
