Why Launch in Florida
Florida's recent surge in attacks against rights, freedoms, and democracy, accompanied by a rise in racism, white-nationalism, and hate crimes, paints a concerning picture of the nation's potential future under a fascist government. Together, the Power of the Ballot National Campaign seeks to resist the anti-woke, anti-Black, racist and sexist policies threatening our nation, by shining a light on Florida.

The Power of the Ballot Campaign is comprised of a multiracial, multigenerational and multi-issue coalition that includes the following:

National Partners: A. Philip Randolph Institute, Coalition of Black Trade Unionists, NAACP, National Black Justice Coalition, National Council of Negro Women, National Education Association, National Partnership for Women & Families, National Urban League, #WinWithBlackWomen, 100 Black Men of America.
